If I start a scan at 09:00, mark a vulnerability as resolved at 09:10, the vulnerability itself gets detected at 09:05, and the scan results come in at 09:20, the status of the vulnerability still changes to "Unresolved".
Make sure the timestamp of historical events get compared.
